97. Where during an epidemiological investigation, a public health director is of the opinion that he or she is unable to intervene effectively or within the time required to complete the investigation or to protect the health of the population, the director may implement the resource mobilization plan of the region’s health or social services institutions that was included in the regional public health action plan, and, in that case, the institutions are required to comply with the director’s instructions.
The public health director shall notify the national public health director and, as applicable, the president and chief executive officer of Santé Québec or the executive director of the Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services of the implementation of the mobilization plan.
