10. No grant provided for under section 2 may be made except in respect of a loan granted following a written application for a loan received by the Bureau or, as the case may be, the Farm Credit Corporation on or after 1 September 1982 or of a loan the payment of which is assumed from that date and for which a written application to assume it is received by the Bureau or, as the case may be, by the Corporation on or after that date.
