11. The public health directors must, in collaboration with, in particular the institutions that operate a local community service centre in their region, develop, implement, evaluate and regularly update a regional public health action plan.
A regional action plan must be consistent with the prescriptions of the national public health program and must take into account the specific characteristics of the population living in the region.
For the purposes of this chapter, for the regional action plan concerning the territory defined in section 2 of the Act respecting Northern villages and the Kativik Regional Government (chapter V-6.1), the Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services is substituted for the public health director.
