27. The Commission shall keep a file of the information communicated to it. The name of a child and that of his parents, and any other information making it possible to identify them must be removed from the file not later than on the child’s reaching 18 years of age. However, if a file is opened for the purposes of an investigation that is continued or conducted after the child has reached that age, the information must be removed not later than 30 days after the end of the investigation.

27. The Comité shall keep a file of the information communicated to it. The name of a child and that of his parents, and any other information making it possible to identify them must be removed from the file not later than on the child’s reaching twenty-one years of age.

27. The Comité shall keep, in accordance with the terms and conditions fixed by regulation, a master file of the information communicated to it. Such file shall be for the exclusive use of the Comité.
However, the president or the vice-president of the Comité may allow such information to be available for the purposes of study, research and statistics, provided that the anonymity of the children concerned and their parents is preserved.
The name of a child and that of his parents must be struck off the file on the child’s reaching twenty-one years of age, at the latest.
