26. An object seized under section 23 shall be handed over without delay to the Commission or to the person designated by if for that purpose.
However, on the expiration of ninety days following the seizure, any person may, if he shows that he has an interest, ask to have the object handed back; the Commission may then either order the object handed over to that person or another person designated by it, or, failing that, determine how it should be disposed of.
Notwithstanding the second paragraph, the Commission, exofficio or at the request of the person who carried out the seizure, may at any time order the object handed over to the person designated by it or, failing that, determine how it should be disposed of.

26. Every object, book, writing or other document seized under the foregoing sections must be handed over to the Commission without delay.
A person who believes he has an interest in the objects, books, writings or other doucments contemplated in sections 23 and 25 may, after the expiry of ninety days’ delay after the seizure or taking of possession, make a written request to the Commission that they be handed over to him and it may order that they be handed over to the person it indicates in the order or, failing that, determine how they should be disposed of.
