181. Every conviction for an offence referred to in section 180 entails a separate and distinct licence cancellation or suspension of the right to obtain a licence.
Notwithstanding the first paragraph, a conviction for more than one offence under section 253, subsection 5 of section 254 or subsection 2, 2.1, 2.2, 3, 3.1 or 3.2 of section 255 of the Criminal Code (Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985, chapter C-46) shall entail only one licence cancellation or only one suspension of the right to obtain a licence where the offences are related to the same event.
