175. When a poll is necessary the returning-officer, on nomination-day, shall cause to be posted up in his official office a notice, in the form 40, of the holding of such poll, and showing:

(a)  the surname and Christian names, profession or calling, domicile and address of each candidate nominated, in the alphabetical order of such names;

(b)  the time when and place where the returning-officer will add up the number of votes given for each of the candidates according to the statements of the deputy returning-officers.
