In addition to the requirement under section 3, State laicity requires compliance with the prohibition on wearing religious symbols under Chapter II of this Act, and with the duty of religious neutrality under Chapter II of the Act to foster adherence to State religious neutrality and, in particular, to provide a framework for requests for accommodations on religious grounds in certain bodies (chapter R-26.2.01), by the persons subject to that prohibition or that duty. State laicity also requires that all persons have the right to lay parliamentary, government and judicial institutions, and to lay public services, to the extent provided for in this Act and in the Act to foster adherence to State religious neutrality and, in particular, to provide a framework for requests for accommodations on religious grounds in certain bodies.
