10. The division of the territory of an English-language school service centre into electoral divisions applies for the purposes of the first general election following the coming into force of the resolution of the English-language school service centre or the decision of the Commission de la représentation, as the case may be. It also applies for the purposes of any subsequent by-election that precedes the second general election held after the division becomes effective.
