2973. If the immovable is charged with a right of emphyteusis, the registrar opens a complementary file in the manner prescribed by the regulations under this Book. The registrations made in the main file to be carried over to the complementary file, or those made in the complementary file to be carried over to the new complementary files, shall be indicated to the registrar in the application for registration of the right.
The same rule applies where the share of each co-owner is identified in an indivision agreement, where a right of exclusive use and enjoyment is granted on part of the immovable and where an express application has been made for the opening of a complementary file for each part in respect of which that right is granted.
