2526. Declarations may be made by endorsement on the policy or in other other customary manner but, where they pertain to goods to be dispatched or shipped, they shall, unless the policy provides otherwise, be made in the order of dispatch or shipment, state the value of the goods and comprise all consignments within the terms of the policy.
Omissions or erroneous declarations made in good faith may be rectified even after loss or arrival.
