2259. It may be stipulated that, in the event of the death of one of the partners, the undeclared partnership will continue with his legal representatives or among the surviving partners. In the latter case, the representatives of the deceased partner are entitled to the partition of the property of the undeclared partnership only as it existed at the time of death of the partner. They may not claim benefits arising from subsequent dealings unless the dealings are a necessary consequence of those carried out before the death.
