Disposition versions
2013. At the end of the contract, the charterer redelivers the ship at the place where it was delivered and in the condition in which it was delivered; he is not bound to indemnify the lessor for fair wear and tear of the ship, stores and equipment.
He is bound, however, to redeliver stores, provisions and equipment of the same quantity and quality as those he received when the ship was delivered to him.
2013. At the expiry of the contract, the charterer returns the ship at the place where it was delivered and in the state in which it was delivered; he is not bound to indemnify the lessor for fair wear and tear of the ship, stores and equipment.
He is bound, however, to return stores, provisions and equipment in quantity and of quality identical to those he received when the ship was delivered to him.
