1888. The total expropriation of leased property terminates the lease from the date on which the expropriating party is allowed to take possession of the property in accordance with the Act respecting expropriation (chapter E-25).
In the case of partial expropriation, the lessee may, according to the circumstances, obtain a reduction of rent or the resiliation of the lease.
