Disposition versions
1546. The choice of the prestation belongs to the debtor, unless it has been expressly granted to the creditor.
Where the party who has the choice of the prestation fails to exercise that choice, after receiving a demand requiring him to do so, within the time alloted to him, the choice of the prestation passes to the other party.
