106. The vote of the absolute majority of all the members of the Council, including the votes of at least one-half of the councillors of the City of Montréal and of at least one-half of the representatives of the other municipalities, shall be required in order to remove, or reduce the salary of the head of a department.
The vote of the absolute majority of the members of the executive committee shall be required in order to remove, or reduce the salary of, any officer or employee of the Community who is not an employee within the meaning of the Labour Code (chapter C-27) and who has held office for at least six months.
