575. Where a person is guilty of an offence against this Code, the peace officer shall issue an infraction ticket to him or place it conspicuously on the vehicle.
In the case of an offence against section 463 or 464, the weigher who ascertains the offence may issue an infraction ticket to the driver of the outsized vehicle.
The infraction ticket must specify the nature of the alleged offence and, in the case of an infraction referred to in an order of the Attorney General under section 574, it must also indicate the amount of the minimum fine and, where applicable, the number of demerit points entailed on conviction, and indicate that the fine is payable to the prosecuting party without costs within the ten days following the issue of the ticket.
