4. In order to weigh 2 categories of axle, the operator shall:
(1) have the road vehicle or combination of road vehicles move forward so that all the axles of a category are supported by one of the platforms of the scale and so that only the axles of a category of axle are supported by the same platform;
(2) have the road vehicle or combination of road vehicles come to a complete stop;
(3) take the reading of the masses on the dials of the platforms of the scale or on the display.
The axle load shall be determined by the reading taken on the dial of the platform used to weigh a category of axle in conformity with subparagraph 3.
