Section 44
Disposition versions
44. Every person who contravenes the third paragraph of section 9 or 9.1.1, section 9.2, the second paragraph of section 12, section 16, 21, 24, 33 or 34, the fifth paragraph of section 35, the third, fourth or fifth paragraph of section 35.1 or section 35.2 or 36 commits an offence and is liable, in the case of a natural person, to a fine of $1,000 to $100,000 or, in other cases, to a fine of $3,000 to $600,000.
44. Every person who contravenes the third paragraph of section 9 or 9.1.1, section 9.2, the second paragraph of section 12, section 16, 21, 24, 33 or 34, the fifth paragraph of section 35, the third, fourth or fifth paragraph of section 35.1, section 35.2 or 36, the fifth paragraph of section 39 or the third paragraph of section 40 commits an offence and is liable, in the case of a natural person, to a fine of $1,000 to $100,000 or, in other cases, to a fine of $3,000 to $600,000.
44. Any offence against the provisions of sections 16, 21, 23, 26 to 29, 33 and 34 makes the offender liable
(1) to a fine of $1,000 to $15,000 for a first offence and $4,000 to $40,000 for any subsequent offence, for a natural person; and
(2) to a fine of $1,000 to $90,000 for a first offence and $4,000 to $120,000 for any subsequent offence, for a legal person.
Any offence against the provisions of section 50.3 makes the owner and, where applicable, the operator of the raising site, spreading site, or the person who cultivates land, liable
(1) to a fine of $2,000 to $20,000 for a first offence and $5,000 to $50,000 for any subsequent offence, for a natural person;
(2) to a fine of $2,000 to $150,000 for a first offence and $5,000 to $500,000 for any subsequent offence, for a legal person.
Any offence against the provisions of the other sections of this Regulation makes the offender liable to the fines provided for in the second paragraph.
