33. The days of absence provided for in sections 29 to 32 must be taken during the period between the death and the funeral, except that if the number of days comprised between the 2 events is less than the number of days of absence to which the employee is entitled, the days of absence that could not be used may be taken immediately after the funeral.
The employee must advise the employer of the absence as soon as possible.
