86.1. The fees prescribed in sections 65 to 71 and 79 shall be increased, on 1 April of each year, according to the rate of increase in the all-items Consumer Price Index for Canada for the period ending on 31 December of the preceding year, as determined by Statistics Canada. This increase shall be effective from 1 April.
The fees thus increased shall be rounded off by increasing or decreasing them to the nearest thousandth of a dollar when they are expressed in thousandths of a dollar, to the nearest hundredth of a dollar when they are expressed in hundredths of a dollar.
In all other cases, they shall be rounded off by increasing or decreasing them to the nearest dollar. However, when they are less than or equal to $35, they shall be rounded off by increasing or decreasing them to the nearest tenth of a dollar.
The Minister of Labour shall publish in the Gazette officielle du Québec a notice of the cost of such fees as soon as it is determined.
