Act respecting the avian emblem
Chapter E-4.1 is replaced by the Act respecting the flag and emblems of Québec (chapter D-12.1). (1999, c. 51, s. 10).

1. The snowy owl, known scientifically as Nyctea scandiaca, is designated as the official avian emblem of Québec.

2. The Minister responsible for the administration of the Act respecting government services to departments and public bodies (chapter S-6.1) is responsible for the administration of this Act.

REPEAL SCHEDULE

In accordance with section 9 of the Act respecting the consolidation of the statutes and regulations (chapter R-3), chapter 74 of the statutes of 1987, in force on 1 March 1988, is repealed, except section 3, effective from the coming into force of chapter E-4.1 of the Revised Statutes.
