1. The Ministère de l’Industrie et du Commerce is under the direction of the Minister of Industry and Trade, appointed under the Executive Power Act (chapter E-18).

The Minister of Industry and Trade is designated under the name of Minister of Economic and Regional Development. The Ministère de l’Industrie et du Commerce is designated under the name of Ministère du Développement économique et régional.
