200.0.12. As of the date appearing on the certificate of demutualization,(1) the certificate of demutualization attests the existence of the mutual insurance company and its continuance as a company governed by Part IA of the Companies Act (chapter C‐38) and subject to this Act; (2) the articles of demutualization are deemed to be the articles of the continued company.
From that date, the company is converted into a capital stock company.
