S-36 - Act respecting grants to school boards

10. The Minister of Education may grant such financial assistance as he deems necessary to any board that erects, enlarges or repairs a school in accordance with the regulations.
He may, at the request of such a board, deposit in trust, in the hands of the Minister of Finance, the amount of such assistance and of any grant otherwise awarded to it in order that the Minister of Finance may pay out of such amounts, at the maturity dates indicated by the board, the principal and interest of the bonds issued by such board after the 1st of July 1968, in whole or in part.
The request of the board must indicate the grants which will be so remitted in whole or in part to the Minister of Finance; it shall have effect as soon as the Minister of Finance agrees to give effect thereto, until complete payment by him of the sums which he is so to pay.
