279. The school board may, at the request of a school council and on the conditions the board fixes, organize the provision of moral and religious values instruction of a religious denomination other than Catholic or Protestant if parents express that wish.
The school board shall, however, ensure that the compulsory objectives are achieved and that the compulsory contents defined in the official programs of studies are acquired, particularly regarding moral values instruction.
