754. No winter road, if there is a single track, shall be less than seven feet in width, between the two rows of balizes. If it is a double road, each track must be at least five feet in width. It is, however, lawful for corporations to make and enact by-laws providing that certain winter roads be laid out and maintained at a lesser or greater width than seven feet, and fixing different widths for different roads.
