601. On publication in the Gazette officielle du Québec of an agreement under section 600, the Attorney General has the necessary authority to prosecute offences referred to therein, and sections 575 to 590 apply to such proceedings; the Minister of Finance may then pay to the municipality concerned its share of the proceeds of the fines out of the consolidated revenue fund, to such extent as they have been paid into it.
