Section 44 Disposition versions

44. Within thirty days after cancellation of its registration certificate, a corporation must submit to the Inspector General of Financial Institutions the application referred to in section 43.

On the corporation’s failure to comply with the above provisions, the Inspector General of Financial Institutions shall, ex officio, issue supplementary letters patent changing the name of the corporation and converting it into a company governed by Part I of the Companies Act (chapter C-38).

On the corporation’s failure to comply with the above provisions, the Minister of Financial Institutions and Cooperatives may, ex officio, issue supplementary letters patent changing the name of the corporation and converting it into a company governed by Part I of the Companies Act.

On the corporation’s failure to comply with the above provisions, the Minister of Consumer Affairs, Cooperatives and Financial Institutions may, ex officio, issue supplementary letters patent changing the name of the corporation and converting it into a company governed by Part I of the Companies Act.
