S-18.2.1 - Act respecting the Société québécoise d’assainissement des eaux

44. Nothing in this Act shall prevent a municipality from holding, in respect of a convention under the first paragraph of section 21 or an agreement under the second paragraph of section 27.1, a consultative referendum in accordance with the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities (chapter E-2.2).

44. This Act does not prevent a municipality from consulting, in respect of a convention contemplated in the first paragraph of section 21 or an agreement contemplated in the second paragraph of section 27.1, the electors who are owners of taxable immovables, in accordance with article 444 of the Municipal Code (chapter C-27.1), or the owners, in accordance with section 351 of the Cities and Towns Act (chapter C-19), as the case may be.
