P-39.3 - Act to ensure the protection of trainees in the workplace

19. Every trainee has a right to a training environment free from psychological harassment.
The employer and, as the case may be, the educational institution or professional order must take reasonable measures at their disposal to prevent psychological harassment and, whenever they become aware of such behaviour, to protect the trainee and to put a stop to the behaviour.
The employer must, in particular, make available to every trainee they receive the psychological harassment prevention and complaint processing policy adopted in accordance with section 81.19 of the Act respecting labour standards (chapter N-1.1), which applies to the trainee, with the necessary modifications.
