247. (1)  Any elector entered on the electoral list for a polling-subdivision, in whose name another person has voted, shall nevertheless have the right to obtain a ballot and to vote after establishing his identity and taking the oath in the form 52 and also, if so required by the deputy returning-officer, the poll-clerk, a candidate or candidate’s agent present, the oath provided for in section 248.
(2)  The poll-clerk shall enter in the poll-book
(a)  the fact that such elector has voted after another had voted under the same name and that he took the oath in the form 52;
(b)  any objections made and the name of the candidate on whose behalf they were made.
