235. (1)  On the polling-day, before the time fixed for the opening of the poll, the deputy returning-officer shall post up or cause to be posted up, in some conspicuous places outside the polling-station and in each polling-booth, at least five copies of the instructions and advice for the electors, in accordance with form 45, and supplied by the director general of elections or with his authorization.
(2)  The obligation imposed by subsection 1 of this section shall subsist so long as it has not been performed, even after the opening of the poll, without prejudice to any recourse against the deputy returning-officer who has not performed it within the time prescribed by the said subsection 1.
