15. (1)  During the election period and during the annual enumeration period, the director general of elections shall be vested with all the powers conferred by this act on the Gouvernement, respecting the appointment of election officers or deputies.
(2)  No provision of this section or of this division shall deprive the Gouvernement or any election officer of the right conferred upon it by this act respecting the appointment of an election officer.
