E-2.2 - Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities

588. The following persons are guilty of an offence:
(1)  the returning officer who makes an announcement of the results of an addition of votes with the knowledge that it does not correspond to the actual results;
(2)  the returning officer who makes a declaration of election with the knowledge that it does not correspond to the final results of the poll;
(3)  the clerk or clerk-treasurer who draws up a certificate of the results of the procedure for the registration of qualified voters with the knowledge that it does not correspond to the actual results;
(4)  the clerk or clerk-treasurer who draws up a statement of the final results of the referendum poll with the knowledge that it does not correspond to the results.
