722. The regional county municipality or the board of delegates possesses and exercises, in regard to any watercourse which is regional by law or by declaration, all the powers of a local municipality.
The first paragraph also applies to a regional county municipality no part of whose territory is situated within the territory of the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal or to a board of delegates in relation to any local watercourse that is under the jurisdiction of such a municipality.

722. The county corporation or the board of delegates possesses and exercises, in regard to any road, bridge or watercourse which is by law or is declared to be a county road, bridge or watercourse, all the powers of a local council.
