178. The corporation may by by-law establish a tariff of fees payable to municipal officers for their services, whether by the persons who have applied for them or by those on whose account they are rendered, or by the corporation, in cases in which such fees have not been fixed by law.
Every tariff made under this article shall be posted up in a conspicuous place in the office of the corporation.
