A funeral director or embalmer who takes possession of a human body which might possibly contain radioisotopes must take all the necessary steps to protect the members of his staff who are called upon to handle the body, and he must take the necessary measures to eliminate any radioactive source.
Every sealed source of radioactivity must be removed from a body before embalming or incineration thereof.
