8. A wildlife observation centre licence authorizes its holder to keep animals of the species listed in Schedule II to the Regulation respecting animals in captivity (chapter C-61.1, r. 5) or native species in captivity for conservation, research, educational, exhibition or recreational purposes, for at least 3 months per year. It also authorizes its holder to capture an animal of a native species listed in Schedule I to the Regulation respecting animals in captivity for the purpose of keeping it in captivity.
