173. A defendant who has not made a preliminary exception must file his defence within 10 days from the expiry of the time fixed to appear or from the date of the notice contemplated by article 152.

173. A defendant who has not made a preliminary exception must file his defence within 10 days from the expiry of the time fixed to appear or from the date of the notice contemplated by article 152 or, if there has been a demand for evocation, from the date of the judgment thereon.
