Regulation respecting the establishment of Parc national du Bic
Parks Act

1. The territory described in the Schedule constitutes the Parc national du Bic.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
REGISTRATION DIVISION: RIMOUSKI
PARC NATIONAL DU BIC
A territory located in the regional county municipality of Rimouski-Neigette, being part of the municipalities of the parish of Saint-Fabien and of the village of Bic, having an area of 33.2 km2 and whose perimeter is described as follows:
Starting from a point located at the intersection of the northern edge of the right of way of Highway 132 and the southern edge of the right of way of chemin du Golf, thence southwesterly, following the right of way or Highway 132 to a point located 111.15 m from the division line between lot 169 A and part of lot 170; thence, following azimuth 312º40′ - 149.05 m to the normal high-water mark of the St. Lawrence River; thence southwesterly, following the normal high-water mark of the St. Lawrence River to the division line between lots 187 and 191; thence southeasterly, following the northeastern boundary of lots 191 and 190 for 87.17 m, to the northern edge of the right of way of Highway 132; thence, in a general southwesterly direction, following the said right of way of Highway 132 to a point located on the northeastern edge of the right of way of chemin Cap-à-l’Orignal; thence northwesterly, following the said right of way to the extension of the division line between lots 240 and 6; thence, following the said extension and the division line between lots 240 and 6 to the southern boundary of lot 5; 4º34′ - 30.57 m; 9º55′ - 22.61 m; 76º04′ - 92.53 m; 344º36′ - 92.89 m; 8º55′ - 64.95 m; 347º28′ - 35.36 m; 340º39′ - 45.60 m; 341º06′ - 37.91 m; and 356º50′ - 5.57 m; thence in a general northwesterly direction, following the boundary of the properties registered under numbers 159601 and 172491 in accordance with the following data: azimuth 336º34′ - 32.30 m, arcs of 10.09 m and 23.77 m, and azimuth 352º33′ - 40.37 m, a point located on the southern edge of the right of way of chemin de la Mer; thence in a general easterly direction, following the said right of way for 92.48 m; thence in a general southeasterly direction, following the southwestern edge of a road for 68.95 m; thence, following azimuth 351º18′ - 45.42 m to the southern edge of the right of way of chemin de la Mer; thence in a general northeasterly direction, following the said right of way and the eastern boundary of land registered under the number 163443 to the normal high-water mark of the St. Lawrence River; thence in a general westerly direction, following the said mark for 123.29 m; thence, following azimuth 168º14′ - 45.11 m, to the northern edge of the right of way of chemin de la Mer; thence westerly, following the said right of way of chemin de la Mer; thence westerly, following the said right of way for 3.90 m; thence, following azimuth 348º22′ - 46.33 m to the normal high-water mark of the St. Lawrence River; thence westerly, following the said mark for 141.76 m; thence, following azimuth 136º05′ - 16.92 m, to the northern edge of the right of way of a road; thence northeasterly and then southeasterly, following the said right of way for 68.04 m; thence southwesterly, following the northwestern edge of the right of way of chemin de la Mer for 3.08 m; thence in a general northwesterly and then southwesterly direction, following the western and then the eastern edge of a road to the northern edge of the right of way of chemin de la Mer; thence westerly, following the said right of way for 36.29 m; thence in a straight line following azimuth de 266º05′ - 114.6 m, to the high-water mark of the St. Lawrence River; thence in a general westerly direction, following the said mark for 566.32 m, to the westernmost extremity of lot 15; thence northwesterly, northeasterly and then easterly, following the southwestern, northwestern and northern boundary of part of the shore and deep water lots to be surveyed.
The boundary of the said lots passes through the following points in turn:
— 100 m from the westernmost point of lot 15 of the cadastre of the parish of Saint-Fabien;
— 100 m from the western point and the northern boundary of Cap-à-l’Orignal (lot 734 of the cadastre of the parish of Sainte-Cécile-du-Bic);
— 100 m from the small island located about 800 m northeast of the island bearing number 736;
—  100 m northwest of Cap-au-Corbeau, the distance measured along the northwestern extension of the southwestern boundary of lot 87-5; thence southeasterly, following the northeasterly boundary of the shore and deep water lot along the said extension; thence in a general southerly then easterly direction, following the normal high-water mark of the St. Lawrence River until it meets the southern edge of the right of way of the highway chemin du Golf; thence southwesterly, following the said right of way of the starting point.
The following are excluded from the territory:
— Lots 14-1 and 14-2 of the cadastre of the parish of St-Fabien;
— The highway to the quay located on lot 148 of the cadastre of the parish of Sainte-Cécile-du-Bic and the quay located on the extension of the said highway;
— The northeastern part of lot 743 (île aux Massacres) belonging to the municipality of the village of Bic.
The whole as shown on a plan executed by Henri Morneau, land surveyor, bearing number P-8228.
