O-6, r. 7 - Regulation respecting the records of a dispensing optician who ceases to practise

1.01. In this Regulation, unless the context indicates otherwise,

a)  “Order” means the Ordre des opticiens d’ordonnances du Québec;

b)  “dispensing optician” means a person entered on the roll of the Order;

c)  “secretary” means the secretary of the Order;

d)  “records” means the records, books and registers that a dispensing optician must keep in the practice of his profession;

e)  “transferee” means the dispensing optician to whom are transferred the records of another dispensing optician upon the latter’s permanent cessation of practice;

f)  “provisional custodian” means the dispensing optician to whom are entrusted the records of another dispensing optician during the latter’s temporary cessation of practice.
