2. In this Regulation, “clinical perfusionist” means:1° any person who holds a clinical perfusionist diploma or Diplôme d’études supérieures spécialisées (D.E.S.S.) en perfusion extracorporelle, issued by the Université de Montréal;
2° any person who was a clinical perfusionist on 30 April 2003;
3° any person certified by the Canadian Society of Clinical Perfusion and satisfying the following conditions:a) has had 24 months’ experience in clinical perfusion during the last 4 years;
b) has received an attestation from a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon or cardiac surgeon confirming success in a supervised training period lasting 3 months performed in a training site of the training program leading to a D.E.S.S. en perfusion extracorporelle conferred by the Université de Montréal.
