1.18. The combination of a master’s degree and an undergraduate diploma awarded by the educational institutions designated below give access to the permit issued by the Chambre des notaires du Québec:
1° master’s degrees:
a) Maîtrise en droit notarial (LL. M.) from Université Laval;
b) Maîtrise en droit notarial (LL. M.) from the Université de Montréal;
c) Maîtrise en droit notarial (LL. M.) from the Université de Sherbrooke;
d) Maîtrise en droit (LL. M.) - concentration en droit notarial from the University of Ottawa;
2° undergraduate diplomas:
a) Baccalauréat en droit (LL. B.) from Université Laval;
b) Baccalauréat en droit (LL. B.) from the Université de Montréal;
c) Baccalauréat en droit (LL. B.) from the Université de Sherbrooke;
d) Bachelor of Civil Law/Juris Doctor (B.C.L./J.D.) from McGill University;
e) Licence en droit civil (LL. L.) from the University of Ottawa;
f) Baccalauréat en droit (LL. B.) from the Université du Québec à Montréal;
g) Baccalauréat en droit (LL. B.) from the Université du Québec, obtained upon completion of a program offered by the Université du Québec en Outaouais.
1.18. The combination of a master’s degree and an undergraduate diploma awarded by the educational institutions designated below give access to the permit issued by the Chambre des notaires du Québec:
1° master’s degrees:
a) Maîtrise en droit notarial (LL. M.) from Université Laval;
b) Maîtrise en droit notarial (LL. M.) from the Université de Montréal;
c) Maîtrise en droit notarial (LL. M.) from the Université de Sherbrooke;
d) Maîtrise en droit (LL. M.) - concentration en droit notarial from the University of Ottawa;
2° undergraduate diplomas:
a) Baccalauréat en droit (LL. B.) from Université Laval;
b) Baccalauréat en droit (LL. B.) from the Université de Montréal;
c) Baccalauréat en droit (LL. B.) from the Université de Sherbrooke;
d) Bachelor of Civil Law/Juris Doctor (B.C.L./J.D.) from McGill University;
e) Licence en droit civil (LL. L.) from the University of Ottawa;
f) Baccalauréat en droit (LL. B.) from the Université du Québec à Montréal.

d) Bachelor of Civil Law/Bachelor of Laws (B.C.L./LL. B.) from McGill University;
e) Licence en droit civil (LL. L.) from the University of Ottawa;
f) Baccalauréat en droit (LL. B.) from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
1.18. The following diplomas awarded by the educational institutions designated below give access to the permit issued by the Chambre des notaires du Québec:
1° Diplôme de droit notarial from Université Laval;
2° Diplôme de droit notarial from the Université de Montréal;
3° Diplôme de droit notarial from the Université de Sherbrooke;
4° Diplôme de droit notarial from the University of Ottawa;
5° Maîtrise en droit (option notariat) from the Université de Montréal.
A diploma referred to in the first paragraph must have been issued after one of the following undergraduate degrees awarded by the educational institutions designated below has been obtained:
1° Baccalauréat en droit from Université Laval;
2° Baccalauréat en droit from the Université de Montréal;
3° Baccalauréat en droit from the Université de Sherbrooke;
4° Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University;
5° Bachelor of Civil Law/Bachelor of Laws from McGill University;
6° Licence en droit civil from the University of Ottawa;
7° Baccalauréat en droit from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
