Sexologists must recognize the inherent limits of the measurement instruments they use and exercise caution in interpreting the material, in particular taking into account1° the specific characteristics of the tests or of the client that may interfere with their judgment or affect the validity of their interpretation;
2° the context of the intervention; and
3° factors that could affect the validity of the measurement instruments or assessment tools and necessitate changes in the administering of tests or the weighting of standards.
