S-3.1 - Act respecting safety in recreation and sports

30.16. On receiving a complaint concerning an act of sexual violence, the recreation and sports integrity ombudsman must inform the complainant or any victim that it is possible to refer the complaint to the Commission des services juridiques. If the victim is under 14 years of age, the ombudsman shall also inform the person having parental authority or the tutor of that option. If the victim is 14 years of age or over, the ombudsman may also inform the person having parental authority or the tutor of that option, with the victim’s consent.
