69. Dealers and advisers may not carry out a derivatives trade on behalf of a client or recommend a derivatives trade to a client unless they have made sure that the client has1° the information the client ordinarily needs for the purposes of their business relationship;
2° the information required to make an informed decision and give clear trade instructions; and
3° information on the margin requirements to which the trade is subject and on the consequences of the client failing to meet those requirements when called on to do so.
