199.1. Any person who
1°  provides information that the person knows to be false or misleading when communicating information under section 129.2.1, or
2°  contravenes section 129.2.2,
is liable to a fine of $2,465 to $24,658 in the case of an individual and $12,328 to $308,226 in the case of a legal person.
On a subsequent conviction, the fines are doubled.
