54. A complainant whose complaint has been registered in the complaints register may, if dissatisfied with the authorized insurer’s processing of the complaint or the outcome, request the insurer to have the complaint record examined by the Authority.
If the authorized insurer belongs to the financial group of a federation, the record is examined by the federation rather than the Authority.
The authorized insurer is required to comply with the complainant’s request and send the record to the Authority or, as the case may be, to the federation.
