Regulation respecting fees exigible for the transfer of land management

Act respecting the lands in the domain of the State

(chapter T-8.1, s. 71).

The fees prescribed in the Regulation have been indexed as of 1 January 2025 pursuant to the notice published in Part 1 (French) of the Gazette officielle du Québec of 14 December 2024, page 710. (s. 2)

1. This Regulation applies to lands in the domain of the State under the authority of the Minister of Natural Resources and Wildlife under section 3 of the Act respecting the lands in the domain of the State (chapter T-8.1).

2. Transfers of management of land and the granting of land rights to a public body, the Government of Canada or any of its departments or agencies under sections 10 and 12 of the Act are subject to payment of the following fees:

1°  registration fees prescribed by the Regulation respecting fees for attestation, registration and research in the Register of the domain of the State (chapter T-8.1, r. 3);

2°  fees for the preparation and deposit of survey plans and documents prescribed by the Regulation respecting the sale, lease and granting of immovable rights on lands in the domain of the State (chapter T-8.1, r. 7);

3°  management fees of $690 for the transfer of management or granting of a right in land having an area not exceeding 10 ha, plus $12.70 for each additional hectare or part thereof to a maximum amount of $6,281.
